Traditional saunas in Japan typically require 3 days to a week of on-site construction.
MySauna’s modular system allows factory-made units to be quickly assembled on site, reducing installation time and cost within Japan.
With the same design and insulation quality as traditional saunas, MySauna delivers high airtightness and a premium sauna experience comparable to professional facilities.

Hinoki cypress

The MySauna Difference

Hinoki cypress is considered one of the world’s finest building woods, known for its durability and natural compounds such as hinokitiol and phytoncides, which provide antibacterial properties and a calming aroma. Historic structures like Horyu-ji Temple, built over 1,300 years ago, demonstrate its longevity. Unlike heat-treated woods such as thermowood, untreated hinoki preserves its natural living qualities, making it ideal for indoor home saunas and enhancing relaxation.

Maintenance

Maintenance

MySauna home saunas are easy to maintain. Using a sauna mat or towel during use helps prevent sweat from directly contacting the wood and keeps it in good condition. After use, simply remove the mat or towel and wipe the surface dry or clean it lightly with alkaline electrolyzed water. We also recommend checking the sauna stones every 2–3 months, as broken stones may produce powder that could affect the heater.
